Batchbook was a cloud-based CRM created by BatchBlue Software for small businesses and organizations. It organized contact records, communications, sales opportunities, tasks and custom relationship data in a shared workspace.
The product promoted a social CRM approach. Users could connect contact records with social profiles and maintain richer context around prospects and customers. Batchbook supported team access, searchable records, dynamic lists and mobile-responsive views.
BatchBlue announced in December 2018 that Batchbook would conclude operations on January 15, 2019. The company selected PipelineDeals as a migration destination for customers, so Batchbook is now a historical CRM product rather than an available service.
Historical product materials describe contact profiles with custom fields, recorded communications, social information and relationship history. Users could search records and build lists using tags and other criteria.
Batchbook also included deal management, configurable sales stages, calendars, to-do lists, reporting and team collaboration features. Its drag-and-drop import process supported CSV spreadsheets and vCard files.
Documented integrations included Mailchimp, Google Apps, QuickBooks, Eventbrite and Xero. The Mailchimp connection could display campaign activity on contact records and export selected contacts or lists.
Current pricing is unavailable because Batchbook ended operations on January 15, 2019. Historical listings reported a $55 monthly plan with unlimited users and a free trial that did not require a credit card.
Archived pricing references vary by period. They should not be treated as an active offer or as a basis for purchasing decisions.
Pros: Batchbook focused on small-business CRM workflows, offered unlimited-user pricing in historical listings, supported custom relationship data and provided several business-app integrations.
Cons: The service is discontinued, current support is unavailable and historical pricing cannot be purchased. Its feature set was oriented toward straightforward relationship and pipeline management rather than modern enterprise automation.
Comparable active CRM products include Capsule CRM, Insightly, Nimble, HubSpot CRM and PipelineDeals. These products occupy overlapping areas such as contact management, sales tracking, collaboration and small-business CRM workflows.
PipelineDeals is also historically relevant because Batchbook selected it as a migration destination for customers during Batchbook’s 2018 shutdown process.
