Overview

Claude for Work is Anthropic’s commercial workspace offering for organizations. It includes Team and Enterprise plans built around Claude’s chat, document, coding, research and analysis capabilities.

Team provides centralized billing, administration, collaboration features and increased usage. Enterprise adds stronger identity, governance, observability, retention and deployment controls for larger organizations.

Claude is available through web and desktop applications, with mobile access on supported plans. Organizations can also connect business tools through built-in connectors, Model Context Protocol integrations and selected Google Workspace services.

Key Features

Claude supports text and image analysis, code generation, document review, summarization, drafting, structured reasoning, data analysis and interactive artifacts. Projects and knowledge bases help teams organize recurring work and reference material.

Connectors can bring context from services such as Google Drive, Gmail, Asana, Atlassian, Notion and other supported tools. Remote MCP also allows organizations to build or enable custom connections and tool actions.

Enterprise administration includes single sign-on, SCIM, role-based permissions, audit logs, usage analytics, compliance tooling, custom retention controls, network access controls and optional HIPAA-ready arrangements.

Claude Cowork is available on paid plans across desktop, web and mobile surfaces, subject to plan and administrator settings. Cowork can run tasks locally or in Anthropic’s cloud during its beta availability.

Pricing

Anthropic’s current Team pricing lists standard seats at $20 per seat monthly when billed annually, or $25 per seat monthly when billed monthly. Team plans support organizations with two to 150 members.

Premium Team seats cost $100 per seat monthly with annual billing, or $125 monthly with monthly billing. Premium seats provide five times more usage than standard seats.

Enterprise pricing lists a $20 per-seat charge plus usage priced according to model and task. Enterprise also adds administrative, compliance, access-control and retention capabilities.

Anthropic offers a separate Free plan for individual Claude use. The company does not document a standard free trial for Claude for Work Team or Enterprise plans. Enterprise buyers should contact sales.

Pros & Cons

Claude for Work combines a capable general-purpose assistant with organization-level administration and business data controls. Its connector and MCP support can extend workflows beyond the chat interface.
